Speak in Christ

Anchor Scripture: For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”2 Corinthians 2: 17

Admonition
Greetings from the Throne of Grace!

About a month, or thereabout ago, I came across two videos on the social, in which a young woman with a twisted arm was being “healed” by two different “pastors”; of course, they shot the videos differently in their churches. Barely two weeks later, I read again that the police had arrested the woman for allowing herself to be used by fake pastors to deceive people in doing fake miracles.

In a very sharp contrast, in Acts 5: 15 – 16, we saw how the “ordinary” shadow of Peter heal the sick. The question now is is it not the same Jesus Christ that Peter and other Apostles preached and did a lot of miracles that these your fake “pastors” are also preaching? So sorry to disappoint you; it is the same Jesus Christ but in different modes.

In our anchor Scripture today, Apostle Paul distinguished himself from those who preach Jesus Christ, corrupting the Word of God, that they may have food, build mansions, buy exotic cars, wear designer shoes, clothes, wristwatches, etc. According to him, he spoke in Christ.

Brethren, the truth is that to FINISH STRONG as a child of God, YOU MUST SPEAK IN CHRIST. Speaking in Christ means speaking the truth at all times because Jesus Christ is the TRUTH (John 14: 6). But very critical to this is being in Christ and being rooted in Him. This is what is lacking in the lives of those fake pastors who needed fake miracles to draw people into the fake congregations.

Speaking in Christ is the reason Apostle Peter, Paul, John and the others FINISHED STRONG in and with God. Anyone willing to FINISH STRONG in and with God MUST therefore, follow their examples.

Till tomorrow when we shall meet again on this beautiful journey of FINISHING STRONG together, keep keeping on in Him!
